Our Technology Stack

Technology Is Not the Product. Results Are.

Axionis brings a proprietary integrated technology stack to every engagement. It spans data collection to shareholder-level reporting — covering every layer where operational decisions affect economic outcomes. We do not sell licenses. We apply these tools as part of the engagement and charge for the results they generate.

Four Layers of the Stack

Layer 1 — Data Foundation

Real-Time Production Data Management

Creates a single, reliable source of truth for all production data — well rates, pressures, temperatures, equipment status, injection volumes — updated continuously from field instrumentation. Eliminates the fragmentation and duplication that causes 30–40% of regime decisions to be delayed 24–72 hours on typical mature assets.

Outcomes

  • Every decision based on verified, current data
  • Manual reporting eliminated
  • Historical data quality recovered

Layer 2 — Operational Visibility

Unified Asset Dashboard

Consolidates production KPIs, cost data, equipment status, and shareholder metrics into a single management interface — accessible to field operators, production engineers, and asset management simultaneously.

Outcomes

  • Team decisions aligned on same reality
  • Anomalies surface in minutes
  • Engineering/economic gap visible and manageable

Layer 3 — Optimization Engine

Three Applied Tools

ML-driven

Waterflood Optimization

Analyzes 5+ years of daily well production history, maps hydrodynamic interference between injection and production wells, clusters wells by dynamic connectivity, builds predictive models per cluster, and computes optimal injection regimes to maximize oil output while minimizing water handling.

Outcomes

  • Reduction of unproductive injection
  • Optimal redistribution of injection rates
  • Verified field results: 475–1,435 additional tonnes per quarter

Model Predictive

Process Control Optimization

Replaces manual PID-based process management with a multi-variable predictive model that simultaneously manages all controlled parameters of oil treatment, separation, and fluid handling units.

Outcomes

  • Increased yield
  • Reduced energy consumption
  • Reduced equipment wear

ML + Physics-Based

Predictive Equipment Reliability

Applies physics-based and statistical machine learning models to rotating equipment — ESP pumps, centrifugal pumps, compressors, heat exchangers — to detect degradation patterns before failure occurs.

Outcomes

  • Reduction of unplanned shutdowns
  • Shift from reactive to scheduled maintenance
  • Extended equipment run life

Layer 4 — Project Control Infrastructure

Integrated Project Management Environment

Provides an integrated environment for capital project management: network scheduling at three tiers, budget control at work-package level, technical document management with discipline-level tracking, supply chain monitoring, and management reporting.

Outcomes

  • Single source of truth for schedule/cost/docs
  • Early identification of risks
  • Management dashboards enabling decisions in hours
  • Audit-ready change management

Why the Stack Works as a System

Most assets have elements of this stack already in place — often from different vendors, in different systems, managed by different teams. The data is fragmented. The optimization is local, not integrated. The economic impact is invisible.

Axionis operates the full stack as a single integrated model. The output of the data layer feeds the optimization layer. The optimization decisions are evaluated against the economic model. That integration is what generates results.

We apply this stack within every engagement — from the diagnostic phase through implementation and capability transfer. There are no license fees.
